Sweet Potato Fry
Sweet Potato Tawa Fries, masala used is cumin seeds,asafoetida powder and green chilly, coated in semolina and fried in tawa.
Crispy from outside and soft inside and tastes simple awesome.
Can be served as snack or during lunch/dinner with other side dishes.
NoteThe spiciness is mild. For more spice had 2 green chilly instead of 1.

Ingredients
 Sweet potato 1 medium sized
 Green chilly 1
Cumin seeds(jeera) 1 tsp
 Salt 3/4 tsp
 Water 1/4 cup
 Asafoetida powder(hing) 1/2 tsp
 Semolina(rava) 1/2 cup
 Oil 2 tbsp

Method
  1. Peel sweet potato skin.
  2. Cut disc shaped little thick,place them in a bowl.
  3. In a crusher add 3/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp cumin seeds/jeera, 1 green chilly.
  4. Add crushed cumin seeds/jeera, green chilly to the bowl.
  5. Add 1/2 tsp asafoetida powder and 1/4 cup water and mix well.
  6. Heat a tawa.
  7. Dip sweet potato in semolina(rava) and one by one place it in tawa.
  8. Cover lid and fry for 1-2 minutes on medium flame.
  9. Open lid sprinkle little sweet potato masala water on sweet potatoes
  10. Again close lid and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
  11. After that flip the sweet potatoes.
  12. Cook for 1-2 minutes on low flame.
  13. Remove from tawa and serve.
  14. You can also serve with tomato sauce.
  15. Enjoy.....!
