Raw jackfruit pickle

Kadgi Adgai is raw jackfruit pickle. Kadgi Adgai is famous konkan cuisine.

Kadgi adgai goes good with dalithoy/dal curry.

Serves - 10 people
Ingredients
Raw jackfruit - 1/2 medium sized
Oil - 1 tsp
Water - as required for washing raw jackfruit
Salt - 1 tbsp
Salted mango - 1 (or bilimbi 4-5)
Pickle powder - add till raw jackfruit coats well.
Method

    Add 1 tsp oil to water and dip your hands in it. So that jackfruit glue doesn't stick to your hands.
    Cut 1/2 raw jackfruit into pieces and place them in water.
    In a pressure cooker, add 2-3 cups water and place a table ring.
    In a bowl, add the raw jackfruit pieces only(discard water), add 1 tbsp salt.
    Pressure cook for 1 whistles on high flame.
    Once raw jackfruit is cooked, Cut 1 salted mango into pieces and add to that bowl. 
    If you do not have salted mango you can also use 4-5 bilimbi. Else cut raw mango into big cubes. Place them in air tight dry container. Add salt and close the lid and use after 3 hrs.
    Add pickle powder and mix well. The consistency should be semi dry.
