Note: Here we are not adding salt and tamarind as mango are brined and are sour ones. If required only add salt.
Serves- 4 people
Ingredients
- Brined mango - 1
- Coconut grated - 1 cup
- Short red dry chilly(spicy) - 10 to 12
- Garlic cloves - 6 to 8
- Coconut oil - 2 to 4 tsp
Method
- Wash mango in running water to wash out the extra salt content.
- Chop(if possible mash them with your hands) and separate the seed.
- In a pan, add few drops of oil and fry the red dry chilly for a minute on low flame. Once done turn off flame and keep it aside.
- In a blender add fried short red dry chilly, garlic cloves, coconut, and chopped mango little water and grind to fine paste. Check for salt.
- Transfer into a serving bowl mix well.
- Add 2 to 4 tsp coconut oil mix well here is a lip smacking dish ready to served with hot rice or with rice porridge.
